After watching the Burger Baron documentary, I have been slowly visiting locations across Alberta and this one is by far my favorite so far! Funky atmosphere, cool 'Burger Baron' custom van out front and a great burger! I visited twice while in the area. Owners are friendly. Will be back for sure.
Best burger baron around. Staff is so friendly and the menu is huge with different selections ranging from chicken to pizza and donairs. They also have ice cream and shakes.

This is a must stop every time we come to town. Been coming for probably 35 years and it has always been amazing! Thanks for the memories! The food is consistently mouth-watering. The staff is always smiling. It keeps us coming back. The Retro diner is playful and always has plenty of seating available.
Stopped in and was treated amazing. We ordered the 3 piece chicken meal and 3 burgers. The chicken was super crispy on the out side and juicy on the inside. Had the big Mac burger and was super on point in flavor. We will definitely be going back anytime we are in sundre!
Had to drive 100 km from Calgary to get there. Lots of good reviews so had to make the trip. The food and service worth the trip. Some of the best pizza I have had. Juicy tasty burgers . Great shakes and dozens of ice cream flavours Ate in and took some home. All reheated well.
I usually don't like burger baron but the one in Sundre is great. The food is much better than other burger barons. The service was great, the selection is much better and the owner is very personable. I will be going back
First time being in a Burger Baron- I'm unsure of what to order, but the gentleman behind the counter recommended the extreme mushroom burger and poutine. So I got just that! Let me tell you--- the flavor is top notch. The poutine was delicious, and the gravy was very flavorful. All made in house. Highly recommend will be back ! Cool tunes in the seating area, everything is clean, it's bright in here too with all the windows. Great little hidden gem!
